Bouncing Back
Two drivers who have taken on the toughest challenge of all outside their racing and fought back in the same way that they do when they are on the track: To win! Second place is very definitely not an option. Not to George Boult and Steve ‘Cecil’ Anscombe. Story Paul Huggett

Long ‘un to Long Tracks
…… but he’ll still be seen on the Spedeworth tracks. We put five questions to Dave Longhurst about where he’s going in racing during the immediate future. Interview Paul Huggett

NEC Show
Lots of photos of gleaming new cars, and Adrian Blackwell scouts around all the gossip from the halls.

2005 What’s On in Scotland
As usual there are plenty of meetings to look forward to in Scotland but no World Championships as the Racewall/Trioval fixture list was announced. However, there is a European Championship for the Saloons and with the Hot Rods and Prostox drivers now having tracks south of the border to compete with this has led to a second World Cup and a Scottish Open being added to the programme.

‘Drifting’ 1
During the close and the stadiums just running a few meetings or some closing for the winter, I was pleased to get a call from the Drift UK supremo Terry Collins with the offer of a visit to a Drift event. “We fly out Sunday,” says Terry by Malcolm Foskett.

‘Drifting’ 2!
Originating in Japan, where the kamikaze pilots are acknowledged masters of the art, Drifting is reported to be the fastest growing motor sport in the USA and signs are that we here in Blighty are catching onto this craze in a big way too. By Matthew Bull.
