The July issue of Short Circuit previewed the National Hot Rod World Championship, plus a National Hot Rod race action update featuring some superb action shots. Paul Huggett took a look at the Open Wheel Stock Cars, and the title suggested that the V8’s were thriving, whilst the Superstox were still alive.
Anne Sayell and Amy Wilkinson reported on the Alwalton Raceway Euro Weekend, with a brief profile on Kev Johnston. The Mad Turk From Arlington was how Paul Huggett captioned the heading on Stock Rod racer Simon Hassan, whilst Crispen Rosevear, Andrew Carter and Chris John reflected on the memories of the UK Speed Weekends.
Regular Columnists Paul Huggett looked at Fabio Luffarelli, John Hyam did an Open Wheel digest, whilst Mark Haddleton talked about John Heynes, the promoter of Northampton International Raceway.
