Description

The April issue sees the start of a great new series on the younger generation moving into the more senior formulas, and we start this series with an interview with Michael Vitulli who races in the Hot Rods.
There is an A4 size poster in full colour of John Lund and Paul Harrison opposite locking their way around a top shale venue, plus the sports ‘National formula’ fixtures and our first attempt at a TV guide.

The History of the 2 litre Saloon Stock Car British Championship is featured as part of the preview to the event at Swaffham on 10th April. Also the Scenes from the Past features some classic SEGTO racing action.

At a time of year when little happens in the UK, we turn to America where the sports biggest race by far takes place, with some top quality shots from the Daytona 500, with the support action and reports, and also we look at Jeff Gordon’s outstanding career through the open wheel Midgets and Sprint Cars to the NASCAR Winston Cup.

We tell people about Short Circuit Magazine’s web site, whilst a new writer joins the team and will be preparing some excellent race tech articles over the coming issues that will apply to just about all formulas on both dirt, shale grass and tarmac. His first column will be in this issue, plus our regular columnists will be back, and Bev Greenhalf also joins the columnists team for this issue with an objective look over both Oval shows.

There will be more parts for oval racing in the New Racin’ Services and Accessories, including a superb offer of ‘Direct from Factory’ prices on racing wheels for competition licence holders only.
