Inside the July issue of Short Circuit, we go behind the scenes of Steve Wills Motorsport. The business has now produced what seems like half the field of current National Hot Rods, plus many of the 2 litre Hot Rods at Arena and Cowdenbeath, plus cars for the Spedeworth version, including the stunning example adorning the front cover.

We also pose several leading questions to Vince Moody, the promoter behind Trackstar or TSR who promote at Swaffham, Sheffield, Skegness and Kings Lynn, and he talks about the current trends and future of oval racing, plus the UK Speed Weekend.

We preview the National Hot Rod World Championship weekend, and also look at the SuperBangers racing at Arena Essex. Other interesting features include the South West Hot Rod scene, plus the latest rounds of National Hot Rod World Championship Qualifying, and the Euro weekend at Alwalton raceway

This issue will have all the news, reports and action shots making one heck of a lot of racing reading. We shall again be producing a comprehensive fixture guide for the main national and touring divisions across the UK for the whole of July and early August.

Regular columns come from Paul Huggett, Neil Clayton and John Hyam, plus a newcomer in the form of Terry Hird, who races independent Hot Rods and Stock Rods.
