Ben Marjoram
28 year old Ben Marjoram has certainly put in the hours and the miles since joining Spedeworth Motorsports ranks in late 2003. Accidents and incidents, hard races and many long journeys – Great Yarmouth is his nearest track, at 116 miles from home – have helped develop his skills and character to the point where it all came together for the one they ALL want to win, the World Championship. At Wimbledon Stadium, on September 27 2009, Marjoram took full advantage of a restarted race to skirt round early shunts among those around him, and drove a storming, yet controlled, race to claim the Gold. It was, for Ben and his team, the climactic moment they had worked towards over 16 years of regular racing, workshop time, and dedication…
